I have a confession to make: I don't only do search engine optimization. It's true. I have several hobbies, involving writing, drawing, and music. Not only do I have vast experience in SEO, but I also have created several humorous and interesting videos. On this page you will see YouTube links of videos I have created. Motion Comic Video - Mark of the Man Wolf

Ever heard of a "motion comic"? It's a small sub-genre of animation that focuses on comics to convey a story using video elements. "Mark of the Man Wolf" is a video I made that combined the contents of the comic book "The Amazing Spider-Man #124 "with an excerpt of the audio  from the "Mark of the Man Wolf" record from Power Records (released in 1974. I also added in sound effects. I used "Motion Artist" software to move the camera and comic book panels around. John Romita did the art for this comic, and it really looks good. The coloring is fantastic, too. I wanted the motion comic to be an experience of how well-done the art is, and to show how effective art combined with sound can be.

Animation Video - "On the Tips of our Tongues"

With an artist friend of mine I wrote a comic. I created a 30 second video to promote the comic, which you can see here. For this video I used Clip Studio to create the animation and included a umber of free sound effects from various artists. 

Animated Music Video - Bill Haley and Crimebuster

"Crimebuster" is a super-hero character created in the 1940s for Lev Gleason publishing. Lev Gleason went out of business, and the characters they created all went into the public domain, which means they're free for anyone to use (like Robin Hood, or Winnie the Pooh).  I created another animated motion comic using the "Motion Artist" software combined with a song by Bill Haley.

Motion Comic -Marvel Super Villain Team Up #5

I also created this short animated video with the "Motion Artist" software. I don't think that Motion Artist is sold anymore but I liked it - its tools did exactly what I needed them to do. For this one, I added sound effects and tried to create an atmospheric re-imagining of what it would be like to experience the comic.
